Information about the tests we provide

Although we try our best to keep the information on this page up to date, certain parts can become outdated as the regulations change with short notice. We encourage everyone to seek information from airlines and government sources directly to stay up to date with the latest changes. The most important government sources in Norway are helsenorge.no, udi.no, regjeringen.no and fhi.no.

NOTE! We only test people without symptoms! We refer those who have symptoms or are quarantined to the public test offering. The same goes for those who have been in close contact with anyone symptomatic.

REMEMBER to wear a face mask! This is required at the testing stations as well as the clinic.

This section was last updated on 2021-03-26 at 3:30 PM

  • At the airport we offer the following rapid testing methods: antigen (15 min), antibody (15 min) and Express rt-PCR (20 min). Read more about the tests.
  • A registration form must be completed before testing. Save time by printing and completing it at home. Forms are also available at the test station. Download the form.
  • We do offer drop-in testing at the airport but you have to be prepared to wait a bit longer for the results, depending on how busy it is. Booked appointments will be prioritized.
  • You can find us at the arrival area in the airport. Not far from check in area.

If one location is fully booked there might be an available slot on the other location. We encourage you to book at the least busy station.

Traveling with KLM?

The requirement to be tested 4 hours before departure has been changed to 24 hours. You will still need to take rt-PCR test within 72 hours of departure. If you have taken a rt-PCR test within the last 24 hours before departure, you are not required to take the antigen test. However, if the rt-PCR test was taken more than 24 hours prior to departure, you are required to take the antigen test. This is relevant for people traveling to the Netherlands. Those with a connecting flight only need an rt-PCR test. Some exceptions exists but they can change at any moment. Go to KLMs website to get the latest information.

Mass testing for the maritime sector

We have the capacity to test larger groups (i.e. for crew change) if they arrive as one group by buss to our test station at Forus. We prefer that mass testings take place in the evening as the testing stations can be quite busy during daytime. The waiting time to get the results may vary depending on the size of the group but are generally delivered the same day within a couple of hours.

We can provide test results and medical certification for the group as a whole if everyone test negative. We can also provide this for individuals for when they are traveling abroad.

Send us a list of names that includes social security numbers (or D-number/DOB), as well as the name of the company and organization number to rocco@klinikkspero.no. We will register them in our patient journals and arrange for name tags to ensure an orderly and speedy testing process. We send invoice to companies with organisation number.

The tests measure if you have the antibodies IgG and IgM.
